I want to help you have FUN camping!

My goal is to inspire and equip those who want a glammed-up camping experience, whether that is in your own backyard or somewhere a little more adventurous.

Glamping is accessible to people with a variety of budgets and styles. I want you to have the tools you need to have an outdoor living experience that fills your soul with delight and wonder.

Glamping is suitable for beginning campers as well as seasoned ones. It doesn’t take that much more effort than camping.

02

Being outside is so good for your body soul. It gives a reset of sorts for your circadian rhythm.

You can glamp even if you have kids or you’re the only female around. Everybody appreciates comfortable touches.

My Camping Journey

When I grew up, my family wasn’t big on camping, but we did use tents as a low-cost accommodation. When we were traveling, that sometimes that meant we stopped at a KOA instead of a hotel and pitched a tent. And sometimes that meant an extra “bedroom” set up in our yard for sleepovers or even putting up a tent for us (meaning kids, lol) to sleep in when visiting relatives.

After I married, my husband and I realized that our vacation game could be improved when we saved money by staying in a tent so we could have the cash to spend on other things. So we started camping for budgetary reasons, but soon enjoyed the experience for itself.

A good campground with clean bathrooms became super important to us as we began having children, and we were very inspired by the fun string lights and colorful rugs of other, more experienced campers. I hadn’t heard the term glamping at that point, but once I did, I was ALL IN.

I have frequently browsed the internet for inspiration for our own campsites, and there is so much out there that I thought it would be fun to collect some of my favorite ideas and tips on one website to share with others.

We are still tent campers, but it’s fun to dream about vintage trailers and remodeled Airstreams. And treehouses and yurts and other alternatives to your typical American camp.
